Victorian Rhinestone Locket Necklace, Falling Stars. 28″. This has a 1-3/8″ round locket that opens at the bail with engraved lines following stars that look like they are falling from the rows of rhinestones above. The locket is Victorian but the chain is newer. The chain is multi-link rope chain with spring clasp. The locket was also used as fobs on watch chains back in the day too. This is in good condition with typical vintage wear on the pendant which tests as 14kt gold filled. There is a website that handles these gold filled lockets called luna and stella where you can see they are 295 and higher. Age is late 1800’s on the locket and 1950’s-1960’s on the chain. Neither piece is marked. (INV. W.101720.1X1 SS4560 J LD 4/28/21).
