Vintage Jewelry: Mid-Century Vintage 14kt yellow gold Jade and Pearl ring. Size 6.5. Weight is 2.3 dwt. This is a blossom-shaped ring with a textured gold leaf-like bottom frame and then the next tier is eight small pearls appx. 2.5-3 mm each and a raised rounded jade cabochon that is 5 mm. It is signed with a c and 14kt. Some light wear on the pearls. The pearls are prong-set and glued. Some of the pearls seem to have different subtle luster or orient – there is one area between two pearls where a little glue residue visible when looking through a loupe. Can be worn as is – a nice ring but it could be professionally cleaned – still a very nice old ring. It is roughly 12.5mm wide and the blossom sits up on a bridged undercarriage with a band that rises up to the underside of the blossom. A nice piece of mid-century vintage jewelry. See photos.
