Vintage Art Deco Flapper Necklace – glass, steel cut beads woven into a bird and floral themed necklace. The strands are a total of 32″ and hang down from the back of the neck 16″. The necklace is 2/3″ wide with five strands of copper colored beads with silver, gray and pink sections that are woven – the strands are 16″ long from the back of the neck and form into a 4″ long peacock black background drop that has a gold bird woven into it with gray and pink floral designs and then there are looped copper, gold, and clear beads at the end. The bird portion is 1.75″ square and the loops dangle down appx. 2.25″ from that. That makes the 4″ drop from the end of the strands. Age is 1920’s – this is strong on a twisted copper cord. Necklace is intact – very well preserved. It came from a PA estate. Very good condition. See photos. (Lot Loc. W.7.2118.G.1X1 – LD 9/30/18).
We carry mostly vintage jewelry across all themes in my stores and listings. We have our own store and are and have been known as stampshopgirl in Ebay and have been since I think 2003. At one point we had a gift shop/rubber stamping store and switched over to vintage jewelry about six years ago on a full time basis, which also including taking and completing gemology classes as well as jewelry appraisal studies. We carry limited other vintage items and am trying to change our presence to marias vintage and estate treasures. You may see both names until the migration is complete. You can find us on pinterest where all ebay items and other venues are categorized – mariasvinta0654.
WE DO NOT STORE FINE METALS AND GEMSTONES ON PREMISES. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT QUESTIONS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE ANSWERED IMMEDIATELY. THANK YOU.
Thank you for stopping by, mariasvintage.
