Vintage Sterling Cupid Heart Locket Necklace. This is 24″ long and 2.5mm twisted rope chain with a spring clasp. Locket and chain marked .925 and tested. 1970’s-1980’s. 13.90 grams. The locket is 1.5″ long from the tip of the vail to the point of the heart and 1-1/8″ wide. It has a swing bail with an angel on the front of the heart locked which is hinged and has a place inside for two photos. The back is a smooth, slightly domed design. This is not signed by the maker. This is in good condition with very light wear mostly only visible on the back of the locked from rubbing against an outfit – polishing would (and I have lightly done this) remove those marks to restore it to looking new.
