Antique Mourning Brooch, early 1900’s, black ridged glass (crepe onyx) – 5 different pieces in different three different shapes. 2.25″ wide and 1/2″ tall. This is appx. 1900-1920’s. It has a gold tone pin base with a silver tone actual pin. The black pieces are a circle on the ends, then a triangular set angled on the second in stones, and the center stone is a larger square set on its end. They are all ridged with sort of a quilted look, at least to me. There is some vintage patina on the pinback but otherwise it is in very good condition which is amazing considering it is probably 100 years old plus. On vintage pieces I do brush dust and dirt off but I do not use cleaners as many vintage buyers prefer the piece to be as is.
