14kt Gold Marquise Garnet Filigree Ring, Sz. 6.25, 3.0 Gr., .35 ctw, Signed KFI

Vintage 14kt Marquise Garnet Filigree Ring, Size 6.25, 3.0 grams and signed with a pictograph image and also marked and tested 14kt.  The stone is appx. .35 ctw., and the ring’s weight is appx. 3.0 grams.  It has an elaborate almost regal design with a tiered scalloped and dotted design that also goes down the center of band. The ring band is 4.5mm at the top of the shoulders and it tapers down o 2.1mm att he back of the finger.   Post mid-century.   This is weighed on a jeweler’s digital scale and measured with digital calipers – both can vary from scale to scale and caliper to caliper.  I do calibrate the scale routinely.  This is not being sold as scrap by weight but by the value of the piece as jewelry.  The value of the piece is valued higher than scrap and therefore weight is not the only factor to consider when purchasing this piece.  This is in good condition – there is a split under the setting area which you can see in the photos – this is being repaired prior to sending.  The stone has light wear on the facets visible by magnification.
