Victorian 9k Masonic Puzzle Ball Pendant/Fob. Circa 1910. It is 9ct gold and silver gilt inside. It opens in a cruciform shape with the masonic symbols engraved. Each section creates a pyramid shape. each pyramid has etched symbols that are silver where etched. The outer orb is 10kt gold layered over silver with 9kt over silver. The ball in its closed position resembles a “ballot ball” in use during Masonic voting. Weight is appx. 9.02 gr which is not all gold weight. It is signed Made in England. There are four hinged accents that you lift and it opens up the orb with pyramid like designs inside with masonic markings. Very good condition with a light ding in one spot. Appx. 1inch.
