Vintage 10kt Odd Fellows Ruby Ring, Sz. 8. Marked 10kt, weight is appx 7.95 gr. Signed with an unknown maker’s mark. Odd Fellows insignia set in the lab brown ruby on top. This is not glass but a ruby crystal grown in a lab with all the same properties as a natural ruby. The stone is appx. 11mm by 9mm with cut corners. On the sides of the ring is a skull and cross bones and a hand. This is both 10kt yellow and white gold. The ring is appx. 14.5mm down the finger and across beyond where the stone is set. The band tapers to app. 3.8mm at the back of the finger. There is wear on the finish of the insignia on top and the band is slightly out-of-round at the back that does not interfere with wear. Otherwise good condition with typical wear. Ring is estimated as 1940’s-1950’s. (INV.W.12222.24X7 SS6537 J MV LD 1/26/22).
We carry mostly vintage jewelry across all themes in my stores and listings. We have our own store and are and have been known as stampshopgirl in Ebay and have been since I think 2003. At one point we had a gift shop/rubber stamping store and switched over to vintage jewelry about six years ago on a full time basis, which also including taking and completing gemology classes as well as jewelry appraisal studies. We carry limited other vintage items and am trying to change our presence to marias vintage and estate treasures. You may see both names until the migration is complete. You can find us on pinterest where all ebay items and other venues are categorized – mariasvinta0654.
WE DO NOT STORE FINE METALS AND GEMSTONES ON PREMISES. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT QUESTIONS MAY NOT BE ABLE TO BE ANSWERED IMMEDIATELY. THANK YOU.
Thank you for stopping by, mariasvintage.
