Vintage 14kt Diamond Engagement Ring, Sz. 7.5, .20 CTW, two-tone, 1930’s-1950’s. Illusion setting with the frame being slightly wider than the diamond which gives the diamond a larger look. The stone is I/J in color and SI2. Weight of the ring is papx. 1.98 gr. Tested and tests as 14kt, yellow gold around band, set in white gold basket. Age is appx. 1940’s-1950’s. The diamond sits up from the raised deck over the finger at appx. 5mm and has angled ridged design on each side of the diamond sloping to the outer sides of the ring.The top center of the ring measures appx. 5mm down the finger from corner to corner and is appx. 2.3mm at the ridged top of the band and tapers to appx. 1.4mm at the back of the finger.
