Vintage 14kt Gold Red White Guilloche Egg Necklace, 16″ Unknown Mark

Vintage 14kt Gold Red White Guilloche Egg Necklace, 16″. The egg has markings on the bail 585 partially stamped on one side and other letters on the other that cannot be made out – believed to be Russian made and appx. 1960’s. Deep red enameling with white enameled spots, gold accents. It is on a 16″ square link chain with spring clasp, marked 14kt, Italy, and what looks like OA. The etwo piecesweigh appx. 5.56 gr. The egg is 3.26gr of that weight. The chain is therefore 2.30 gr. The egg is appx. 22.3 mm tall with ring and 12.5mm at the widest point from side-to-side. Appx. 12mm front-to-back. At the time of this listing there are two similar eggs out there with the same design but one is navy and the other light blue. The light blue is listed at $1625.00 and is also 14kt; the darker one is 18kt and listed at $1275, neither included the chain. Very good condition. Came from a PA sale. (INV.
