Vintage 14kt solid yellow gold Cameo Ring – black and white cameo in Victorian setting. Size 6.25. Weight is 2.73 grams. This is a solid ring – the size is appx. 12.5mm by 10mm as it sits on the vinger. The cameo is oval and sits in a setting that is raised up from the band that has bead-like rays coming out from the bezel setting which holds the cameo. The band has a scrolled accent where it attaches to the bezel and the band itself has a double fused look or a ridge look to the band. It is appx. 2.5mm wide around the finger. This is not signed other than 14kt – tested also. I cannot guess the age on this but if I had to guess I’d place it as a victorian themed ring from the 1950-1960’s era but I could be off. This is a sturdy ring of very nice quality in its construction. The cameo has a smooth black base where the white woman’s profile rests. The woman has long hair down, no jewelry and her image appears to be pressed. The weight of the ring is not think and light but a more substantial weight and thickness. It is not signed other than 14kt. This came from an estate sale in PA. Very good, looks new – the gold does not really even have light wear on it. See photos. (Lot. Loc.
