18kt Art Deco Diamond Filigree Ring, Sz. 6.5, 1920’s. Neartly 1″ down the finger and 3/4″ across the top of the finger. Three diamonds totalling appx. .40 tcw with the center stone larger at apx. .25 ctw with six prongs and the other two at appx. .08 each and held with four prongs. Measurements are not exact as the stones are in a setting that does not allow complete access but this is a best estimate. They are old European cut with a shorter higher table and small cut culet . Ring is 18kt white gold, it is marked and weighed. Weight is appx. 3.55 gr. The band has an art deco design going down the upper shoulders and is appx. 2.9mm and tapers to 1.7mm at the back of the finger. The color of the diamonds is appx. F/G, there are inclusions as is typical in these stones but still a gorgeous true Art Deco ring. Condition is very good. No real wear and very well take care of. This has been lightly and gently cleaned as there was some reisdue on the undercarriage. It comes in a ring box which is from Taylor’s Jewelelrs, LTD – it arrived from the estate in this box so it is left in the box though the box may not be original as it seems to be newer design than the ring. I found this beauty at a Pennsylvania estate auction.
