Vintage sterling silver southwestern/Navajo turquoise pendant on 18″ twisted rope chain. The pendant is nearly 1.75″ long and just about 1″ wide. Weight of both pieces is 10.88 grams. The pendant is a teardrop shaped with three turquoise petit point stones that are sawtooth bezel set. The frame has stamped curved designs and the center has a curved feather, rpe accents, and small flowers raised up from the base. There is a large blossom at the base of the bale along with a silver beat. The bale is built into the pendant. The chain is 18″, marked and tested sterling and is 1.5mm thick with a multi-linked spiral rope design. This is likely from the 1960’s and 1970’s based on look, weight, and wear of the piece. It is not thin like some newer pieces tend to be – very intricate silverwork. This is in very good condition with light patina that can be cleaned/polished if desired. This came from a PA estate.
