Vintage Wire Rim Glasses, Oval, G.F., Ben Franklin style Unsigned

Vintage Oval Wired Rim Glasses – antiques – early 1900’s.    They are in  good condition – the gold filled finish has some wear which is expected for their age.     They are appx. 4.5″ from the hinge on each side of the lens and lenses are appx. 1-1/8″ tall and 1.5″ wide.  They curl behind the ear with a little bead at the end of the wire.  Honestly, these are in good condition considering age – lenses are dirty as I leave old pieces as is unless a repair is need.  They photos will show the lenses as they are – they can be cleaned if desired or if going to be used.  Great for theatre use too.  These came from a PA estate where I got items from the late 1800s through mid-century 1900’s.  I’ve seen these on website dealing in vintage eyewear for $135.00 and higher.    There is finish wear on the bridge and some on the ear pieces but also some of the area is still bright.
